Where can you take WEEE, batteries and packaging for recycling?

Here you will be lead to the website of the German WEEE coordination center stiftung ear. Stiftung ear is providing a search tool to locate the nearest WEEE collection site.

Portable batteries will be collected with all municipal WEEE collection sites and in shops that sell portable batteries.

Collection of portable batteries

In line with the §§ 9, 12 and 13 of the German batteries act, we are collecting portable batteries from municipal collection sites (örE), recycling facilities and retailers/distributors of portable batteries.

Furthermore, we are collecting waste portable batteries from public institutions such as schools or local municipal administration offices as well as from organisations.
