What still needs to be done at the end of the financial year?
- Check the quantity reports Have all the recorded data been considered and are they correct (packaging, electrical appliances, batteries, SUPs, etc.)?
- Compare with internal data sources Check sales and production figures
- Collect documentation and evidence Invoices, delivery notes, production reports
- Calculate EPR fees & create provisions Calculate the fees incurred for the year
- Create reports & submit them on time Annual reports to the relevant systems/authorities
- Evaluate internal processes What internal optimization opportunities exist for data collection and/or monitoring of EPR notifications?
- Training & informing employees Inform responsible departments about changes in 2026
- Communication with partners & suppliers Ensure that suppliers provide the necessary information
- Strategic planning for the next year Analyze the impact of new legislative changes (from 2026 onwards) and, if necessary, make joint preparations with EPR partners.
