ERP signs up to World Day against Climate Change

• Recycling our WEEE correctly also helps fight global warming

Today countries around the world are celebrating International Day Against Climate Change. Set up by the United Nations, it aims to inform, raise awareness and educate people all around the world about the effects of climate change and global warming.

We at ERP are joining this fight, remembering that recycling waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) correctly also helps to reduce global warming. Between 2007 and 2019, ERP in Spain managed more than 300,000 tonnes of WEEE, thus avoiding more than three million tonnes of CO2 from being emitted into the atmosphere. Reusing our electronic waste materials also avoids the overexploitation of natural resources.
