A ‘Sea of Possibilities’ to foster recycling of electronic waste

• Organised by ERP and Amiab, the initiative has the backing of the Regional Government of Valencia and the Federation of Campsites

ERP Spain and Grupo Amiab, in collaboration with the Regional Government of Valencia and the Federation of Campsites of the Region of Valencia, have launched ‘A Sea of Possibilities’, a campaign that seeks to promote the collection of waste electrical and electronic equipment, through educational activities at campsites throughout the Autonomous Community this summer

Between June and September, awareness sessions will be hosted at a total of 15 campsites across the three provinces of the Valencia region. To do that they provide containers for guests for the disposal of WEEE and portable batteries, enabling their collection. Educational materials will also be distributed and a telephone assistance service will be offered to clarify any doubts users might have.

The campaign is completed with training and environmental awareness activities focussed mostly on children and young people, expressing some of the basic principles of the circular economy and the importance of reuse in a fun and practical way.
