The winner of the Green Alley Award 2018 has been proclaimed

Yesterday, October 18, 2018, the final of the Green Alley Award took place, the first prize for European startups promoting the circular economy.

The six finalists of the 2018 edition, coming from Germany, the United Kingdom, Italy, the Netherlands, Austria and the Czech Republic, hit the judges with the innovations proposed for the food sector, alternative materials and biodegradable packaging, just to name a few and presented their ideas to the jury made up of both Landbell Group representatives and external experts.

The winner of this year is Aeropowder (United Kingdom) - The British startup that has developed an alternative insulation material for packaging, made with recycled materials, which replace the traditional polystyrene thermal boxes. The "Pluumo" product consists of leftover feathers that would otherwise be disposed of, inside certified biodegradable protective bags. www.aeropowder.com
