Alberto Canni Ferrari, Country General Manager of Consorzio ERP Italia is the new National Coordination Centre for Batteries and Accumulators Chairman and will lead the CDCNPA.

The new President was elected by the Meeting held yesterday by video conference under the provisions of the Prime Minister’s Decree which contains measures to combat and contain the nationwide spread of COVID-19.

In his first speech as Chairman, Alberto Canni Ferrari reaffirmed that the CDCNPA would continue the successful work started by the outgoing management; he thanked the previous Chairman for the results achieved in the collection and recycling of used batteries and accumulators in Italy, and his commitment to delivering the European Union’s increasingly ambitious objectives for the management of this type of waste.
