Milan, 23 September 2021 – Consorzio ERP Italia, one of the foremost non-profit Compliance Schemes in Italy for the management of WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) and Waste Batteries and Accumulators, has organised a free webinar on 13/10/2021, at 2.30 PM in partnership with the publisher Tecniche Nuove. The webinar is entitled "WEEE 1-to-1 collection: how European and local regulations have evolved since the pandemic".

The webinar explains international online seller requirements and obligations. It clarifies the differences between local regulations, offering the right solution to simplify management by having a single contact person.

The European WEEE Directive obliges the distributor to collect, free of charge, equipment that the customer wants to discard in exchange for the purchase of a new equivalent product. This obligation is transposed differently in each EU Member State, making it difficult for distributors to provide a compliant and sustainable collection solution.
