Resourcing the Future 2018
Landbell Group’s Arne Campen will take part in this important conference sponsored by ERP UK
Resourcing the Future (RTF) is one of the most important events in the recycling and resource industry calendar in the UK. The event is attended by leading stakeholders in the waste and resource management industry, as well as by key representatives from local and central government.
This year's conference, which is sponsored by ERP UK, is set against the backdrop of the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs' 25 year Environment Plan and the forthcoming Resources and Waste Strategy.
RTF 2018 will provide the ideal forum for resource and waste management professionals, policy experts, academics and government representatives to debate and shape a new policy framework that supports the delivery of the vision of 'zero avoidable waste' in the UK.
Arne Campen, compliance manager at Landbell Group, will contribute to one of the sessions: "Rolling out extended producer responsibility (EPR) to challenging waste streams including tyres and mattresses and learning from abroad".
Arne has worked extensively on EPR - for both Sony and DigitalEurope, and now Landbell Group - and has produced guidance on how to install EPR systems, for example, for the OECD.
Arne will discuss "Shaping New EPR Schemes: Lessons Learned from WEEE, Batteries and Packaging".
