ERP is Egging you to recycle your old, broken and unwanted electrical waste and used batteries this Easter.
Electrical items contain a complex mixture of materials. By stripping out hazardous items and re-using as many materials as possible, recycling is good for the environment. For example, the plastics, circuit boards, wiring and metals in e-waste can all be taken out and used to make new products.
Be part of the solution! It couldn’t be easier – you can recycle your electrical waste for free at your local amenity site or at your local electrical retailer.
Each year in Ireland thousands of batteries are disposed of in the standard domestic bin. Why not gather up your used batteries and support our Batteries for Barretstown campaign and raise vital funds for children and families affected by serious illness. Simply bring back your used batteries to your local shop, school or civic amenity site for recycling!!
