ERP is proud to support this year’s circular economy competition

The Green Alley Award is looking for circular economy startups! The 2018 competition is now open for circular economy entrepreneurs to submit their business ideas by 1st July 2018.

On Tuesday 10th April 2018, this year's Green Alley Award was launched. Now in its fifth year, the Green Alley Award is Europe’s first startup prize promoting digital circular economy solutions, recycling innovations and ideas for waste prevention. The award promotes and supports green business ideas that help turn the linear into a circular economy. If your company is looking to create a more sustainable world without waste, then apply for the award here.

Applications including a customized pitch deck must be submitted by 1st July 2018.

At the finals in October in Berlin, six startups will meet high-ranking expert practitioners in one-on-one mentoring sessions and pitch their idea to a wide network of partners from the European circular economy and startup sector. This year's Green Alley Award winner will receive 25,000 euros in cash and the finalists will also compete for a new award, the Seedmatch Crowd Award, and the chance to build the perfect crowdfunding campaign.

"We are delighted that the Green Alley Award is entering its fifth round this year," said Jan Patrick Schulz, CEO of Landbell Group. ERP's parent company is one of the leading providers of services and consulting for international environmental and chemical compliance. "In recent years, we have come across many exciting and innovative business ideas that all show in a special way how we can gradually establish a circular economy in Europe."

The goal of the Green Alley Award is to bring together the pioneers of the circular economy, to work with them on their business model and, ideally, to introduce them to potential customers. "We want to give the startups a platform to promote their ideas and develop them together with us," says Schulz. "The finalists also have the opportunity to develop an intensive exchange of ideas with our experts in workshops.’
