2024 Awards for Excellence in Recycling and Waste Management

ERP UK once again co-sponsored the 2024 Awards for Excellence in Recycling and Waste Management with a range of companies, local authorities and individuals all recognised. This year’s event was extra special as it celebrated its 21st birthday at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House Hotel in Central London.

Keynotes from the awards were:

  • The Awards saw the return of television presenter Mark Durden-Smith.
  • Re-Gen Waste was named the Recycling Business of the Year, PropUp Project won the ‘Circular Economy Success’ award. A full list of the 20 categories can be seen below
  • Clare Delaney, deputy director for resources and waste in the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, delivered an informative keynote speech, providing valuable updates on Defra’s priorities regarding the recycling and waste sector.

The awards once again highlighted the breadth of scope, the innovation and the passion within the UK's waste sector. ERP has proudly sponsored the Circular Economy Success Award for many years to demonstrate our commitment to building a more circular economy. Here breadth, innovation and passion come to the fore as seen in the seven fantastic finalists.

ERP hosted a powerful battery theme table - including producers, trade bodies, government and recyclers making for a lively lunchtime discussion.

This year's CIRCULAR ECONOMY SUCCESS category winner was won by PropUp Project – a social and sustainable solution to waste in the television and film industry.
