Our Commitment to the Environment

Turning environmental responsibility into action

At ERP UK, our commitment to the environment is fundamental to who we are.

As one of the UK’s leading environmental compliance providers, we help businesses meet their environmental obligations every day. We believe that responsibility starts with our own organisation. That means applying the same principles we promote through our services to our own operations, supply chain, partnerships and decision-making.

Our commitment to the environment is guided by a simple belief: protecting resources, reducing waste and supporting a more circular economy requires action, accountability and continuous improvement.

We are committed to improving our environmental performance, promoting responsible resource use and supporting positive environmental outcomes through both our own activities and the work we undertake on behalf of our customers.

Why Environmental Responsibility Matters

Businesses today operate in a rapidly changing environmental landscape.

The transition towards a more circular economy, increasing expectations around sustainability and Net Zero, and the continued evolution of producer responsibility legislation are reshaping how products and materials are managed throughout

their lifecycle.

Environmental responsibility is no longer simply about compliance. It is about understanding environmental impacts, improving resource efficiency, supporting recycling and recovery, reducing waste and making informed decisions that contribute to long-term environmental progress.

As an organisation operating at the heart of environmental compliance, ERP UK recognises the important role we must play in supporting these objectives.

Our Environmental Commitments

Our commitment to the environment is embedded throughout our organisation and reflected in the way we operate.

Environmental Responsibility

We consider the environmental impact of our activities, services and operational decisions.

Continuous Improvement

We are committed to reviewing and improving our environmental performance over time through practical actions and measurable objectives.

Resource Efficiency

We seek opportunities to improve the efficient use of resources and minimise waste wherever possible.

Responsible Procurement

We work with suppliers and service partners that share our commitment to environmental responsibility and continual improvement.

Recycling and Recovery

We support activities that help keep valuable materials in circulation and reduce unnecessary waste.

Environmental Awareness

We promote environmental responsibility throughout our organisation and encourage positive environmental behaviours across our workforce and partner network.

Supporting the Circular Economy

Protecting the environment requires more than reducing impacts. It requires a transition towards a circular economy where products, components and materials remain in use for longer.

This principle sits at the heart of ERP UK’s purpose and vision.

Through our role within the producer responsibility system, we support the collection, treatment, recycling and recovery of products and materials that would otherwise be lost from the economy.

By helping businesses meet their obligations and manage products responsibly at end of life, we contribute to systems that conserve resources, reduce waste and support long-term environmental value.

As part of the Landbell Group, we are proud to contribute to a wider network focused on supporting circular economy solutions across multiple markets and jurisdictions.

Sustainability Through Compliance

We are committed to developing an evidence-based approach that supports continual environmental improvement and helps us understand where we can make the greatest positive impact.

As our environmental programme evolves, we will continue to review, measure and strengthen our approach to environmental performance and carbon reduction.

Looking Ahead

Environmental expectations will continue to evolve.

From Packaging EPR reforms and future Textiles EPR requirements to circular economy initiatives and Net Zero ambitions, organisations are being asked to take greater responsibility for the products and materials they place on the market.

ERP UK is committed to playing its part by continually improving our own environmental performance while helping businesses navigate change with confidence.

By combining environmental responsibility, compliance expertise, reliable data and practical operational solutions, we can help create a future in which compliance, circularity and environmental stewardship work hand in hand.
