Member of an authorized compliance scheme
In Norway, the EU has introduced the Norwegian adaptation of Chapter 7 the Waste Regulations to handle packaging waste. All businesses that produce or import goods with more than 1,000 kilos of a packaging type per year must be members of an authorized compliance company such as ERP Norway.

Packaging categories
This waste recycling category includes paper, cardboard, plastic, polystyrene, steel, aluminium, glass and wood. Many of these materials can be recycled into new products and recycling packaging reduces the amount of waste sent to landfill and saves natural resources.
