ERP Portugal collects more than 22 thousand tons of waste
In 2016, ERP Portugal was responsible for the collection of 21 912 tons of WEEE and 229 tons of WBA, a number that represents an increase of over 34% and 27%, respectively, compared to 2015.

In 2016, ERP Portugal was responsible for the collection of 21 912 tons of WEEE and 229 tons of WBA, a number that represents an increase of over 34% and 27%, respectively, compared to 2015.
ERP Portugal significantly increased the number of collection points, reaching a total of 2443 for WEEE and an 80% increase in waste disposal sites (2066).
In terms of producers of EEE (Electrical and Electronic Equipment) and BA (Batteries and Accumulators) that joined ERP Portugal, 44 new companies were registered, corresponding to a growth of around 8%.
Currently, ERP Portugal works with a total of 33 logistics operators, 25 private waste management operators and 10 treatment and recovery centers, duly segmented by specific waste streams.
