ERP Portugal and Novo Verde mark World Environment Day with the "Recycling Party"

ERP Portugal and Novo Verde (waste management compliance schemes) organize the "Recycling Party" in partnership with ABAE (European Blue Flag Association - Eco-Schools Program), Sailors for the Sea (association to promote seas and oceans the sustainability) and Cascais Town Hall.

Throughout this day, with the support of the Municipalities of Cascais, Mafra, Oeiras and Sintra, the children will participate in several environmental awareness activities for the adoption of good practices, including a theater play about recycling specially created for this event. This way, the aim is to raise awareness among young people about the importance of environmentally responsible behavior, setting an example for older generations. The initiative will end with the concert of one of the most successful national bands today, which promises to make the joys of all participants in this great recycling party.

Also planned in the program of this "Recycling Party" will be the exhibition and selection of creative works made by the participating schools, within the scope of the waste streams managed by the promoting entities: electrical and electronic equipment and batteries (ERP Portugal) and packaging (Novo Verde).
