ERP Austria launches tender for five collection regions

ERP Austria GmbH was appointed by the responsible Federal Ministry as the organisation leading the tender for five Austrian collection regions and launched the corresponding tender procedure on 1 September 2026.

The tender covers the collection of lightweight and metal packaging for a period of five years, from 1 January 2028 to 31 December 2032.

Affected collection regions

The procedure covers the following political districts:

• Waidhofen an der Ybbs (City)
• Salzburg-Umgebung
• Lienz
• Schwaz
• Feldkirch

In these regions, ERP Austria is also the coordinating collection and recovery system under the agreement with the local authorities and is the responsible point of contact for the separate collection of the paper collection category.

Procedure

The tender procedure is carried out in two stages. In the first stage, interested companies can submit an application to participate. After their suitability has been assessed, selected companies will be invited to submit a tender in the second stage.

Participation and submission of documents are carried out exclusively electronically via the ANKÖ procurement platform.
