Who are we?

We are the only Pan-European Extended Producer Responsibility organisation that operates in Spain. We focus on the management of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) as well as on waste batteries and accumulators (WBA).

We make it easy for producers to comply with the legislation.

We offer high quality solutions at the best price, which simplify the obligations that producers have to abide by.
On a global scale, ERP offers WEEE, WBA and packaging services in 32 countries.

How can we help you?

On your behalf, we manage compliance with obligations for WEEE, and batteries and accumulators. And we work with you to guide you on how to optimise your waste management.

We also create tailored waste management solutions for those producers that want to go beyond their legal obligations and lead the transition towards a circular economy.

Our history

ERP was born in 2002 at the hand of four international companies (Braun, Electrolux, HP and Sony) in response to the first EU Directive on WEEE. In Spain, it has operated since 2005 as an Extended Producer Responsibility organisation (SCRAP, as per the Spanish) authorised for WEEE and since 2008 also as EPR organisation for batteries and accumulators.

Throughout the years, ERP has gained valuable experience in each country it is implemented in. It is currently the largest worldwide network of experts in extended producer responsibility.
