Held on 14, 15 and 16 November, in collaboration with ASUS
European Recycling Platform Spain (ERP Spain) has collected a total of 1,337 kilos of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) during the Recycling programme held at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid on 14, 15 and 16 November. A total of 772 kg of WEEE was collected at the cages installed in the Faculty of Environmental Sciences, while the cages located at the Faculty of Economics collected 565 kg.
Along with the recycling programme, ERP Spain also promoted and participated in a conference on “Circular economy and waste processing within the framework of sustainable development goals”, held as part of the 18th Madrid Week of Science and Innovation on 16 November, at the Faculty of Economic and Business Sciences of the UAM. Coordinated by José Miguel Rodríguez Antón, Professor of Business Organisation, and María del Mar Alonso Almeida, Lecturer in Business Organisation, with Santiago Atrio Cerezo, Vice-Rector of Campus and Sustainability; Jaime Cuevas Rodriguez, Professor of Crystallography and Mineralogy; and Matias Rodrigues, General Manager of ERP Spain, as speakers.
