ERP announces the regional winners of the Art CirculArt contest

ERP has announced the winners of the regional prizes for the CirculArt Visual Arts contest. In this first edition, a first prize of €1,500 and two honorary mentions for each of four participating autonomous communities: Asturias, Castilla y León, Madrid and Murcia.

The artist from Colloto, Miguel Díaz, took first prize in CriculaArt in Asturias for his sculpture Los pinceles ciegos (The Blind Brushes). In Castilla y León, the award went to Valladolid artist Julio Sendino with the painting La Dama de los plásticos (The Lady of Plastic) In Madrid, the winning work was Simbiosis Naturaleza Hombre (Symbiosis Nature Man) by Mario Boccolini. Finally, the Cartagena artist Pablo Cross Bernabeu took first prize in Murcia for his work Nuestra casa teléfono (Our Telephone House).

They will all compete for the national award which comes with a cash prize of €3,000. The winning works are exhibited alongside 40 other works created by artists from four autonomous communities to give visibility to the impact of waste on our society and raise awareness that a more sustainable future is possible.

The contest is organised by ERP Spain, one of the Collective Schemes that operate these four regions.
