Selection Procedure Suppliers

ERP assumes the legal obligations of the UPV Textiles regulation in the Netherlands on behalf of its members, such as organizing the collection of used textiles and preparing them for reuse and recycling.

To achieve this, ERP partners with organizations (so-called service providers) that carry out these activities.
These may include:

  • Collection companies
  • Thrift stores
  • Sorting companies
  • Recycling companies

And possibly other parties involved in the circular textile chain

ERP applies several key criteria when selecting these service providers:

  1. The activities of the service provider contribute to an optimized circular textile chain and support achieving the objectives of the UPV legislation in the Netherlands
  2. The service provider adheres to the Code of Conduct as applied by ERP and the Landbell Group. This means, for example, that child labor and discrimination are not accepted under any circumstances
  3. The service provider operates in a sustainable manner
  4. The service provider must be willing and able to provide 100% transparency on a quarterly basis regarding the contracted and executed activities and must supply the appropriate reports (traceability)
