ERP Free Electrical Recycling Drop Off Events Schedule 2026 Announced
Electrical recycling events confirmed for Cavan, Clare, Kerry, Meath and Monaghan…
ERP Ireland is delighted to launch the 2026 schedule for our Free Electrical Recycling Drop Off Events. This programme brings convenient pop‑up recycling events to communities, giving householders an easy way to recycle their unused or broken electrical items and used batteries.
Events have been confirmed for Cavan, Clare, Kerry, Meath and Monaghan, with more to be announced throughout the year.
You can drop off any household item with a plug, cable or battery - large or small - from TVs, washing machines, IT equipment and power tools, to mobile phones, battery‑operated toys and wireless earbuds.
We even recycle used vapes.
Remember: Never bin electricals. Electrical items contain valuable materials that can be recovered and reused - and disposing of them incorrectly poses a serious safety hazard, especially with battery‑related fires on the rise at waste treatment plants.
And don’t forget to support Batteries for Barretstown by bringing your used batteries for recycling.
ERP recycling officers will be on hand to assist with unloading.
If you can’t attend one of our events, you can still recycle your electrical waste free of charge at your local electrical retailer or recycling centre.
