Forest Fest 2026: Music, Sustainability and Trash EEE-lk
WEEE were delighted to be part of the conversation…
What a fantastic weekend at Forest Fest, where more than 16,000 festival-goers came together to enjoy an incredible line-up of music, arts, culture and sustainability-focused activities. ERP Ireland was delighted to be part of the conversation at the MyWaste Greenhouse Stage.
🎤 Yvonne Holmes, ERP Ireland, joined Sorcha Kavanagh of Eco Friendly Cups Ireland for Electronics Magic, exploring how simple actions can help reduce waste and support a more circular economy.
🎤 Feargal Murray, ERP Ireland, also took part in the Future Focus session at the MyWaste Greenhouse Stage, discussing the importance of responsible recycling and the role we all play in keeping valuable materials in circulation.
But perhaps the headline sustainability act was Trash EEE-lk! Standing 13 feet tall and stretching over 16 feet in length, this striking environmental art installation, created by renowned Irish artist Ned Leddy, attracted the attention of festival-goers throughout the weekend. Made from more than 1,000 discarded electrical items and components, Trash EEE-lk serves as a powerful reminder that everyday products – including vapes, which contain batteries and are classified as electrical devices – should never be placed in a bin and must be properly recycled.
A huge thank you to Forest Fest, MyWaste.ie, Native Events, Ned Leddy and his team and everyone who stopped by to learn more about electrical recycling and the positive impact we can all make through small actions.
