Batteries for Barretstown School Challenge features on RTÉ Learn
Resource for teachers, educators and families promotes battery recycling…
We are absolutely delighted to have our Batteries for Barretstown School Challenge feature on RTÉ Learn. This is such a valued and important resource for teachers, educators and families. It showcases a diverse range of educational content from RTÉ and their contributors.
ERP’s Batteries for Barretstown School Challenge was created to educate students on the importance of battery recycling and challenge them to collect used batteries. Once schools register, they receive a Batteries for Barretstown Recycling kit which contains: battery tube, posters, biodegradable battery recycling bags and stickers.
The campaign is open to all primary and secondary schools in Clare, Cavan, Kerry, Limerick, Louth, Meath, Monaghan and Dublin Fingal where ERP operate.
FREE Educational Resources are also available for teachers to use to inform young recyclers on why, how and where to recycle used batteries and what happens to batteries after they are recycled.
We are thrilled to help the next generation develop positive sustainable habits supporting a better environment through battery recycling.
