Batteries for Barretstown Schools Challenge Takes Off!
Calling all schools, teachers, students and families!
We are proud to support the next generation of environmental champions through the ERP Ireland Batteries for Barretstown Schools Challenge!
Since 2017, communities and schools across Ireland have recycled the equivalent of over 164 million AA batteries - enough to reach the International Space Station more than 20 times, or circle the island of Ireland 2.5 times!
Our partnership with Barretstown is at the heart of this initiative. Together, we aim to:
- Educate communities about the importance of battery recycling
- Increase battery collections
- Raise funds for Barretstown, a centre of excellence supporting children with cancer and serious illnesses
Now, we’re asking schools to Power Positivity and Take their Used Batteries on a New Adventure!
