Vote on Battery Regulation postponed
Vote on Battery Regulation has been postponed
The vote in the European Parliament’s Environment Committee (ENVI) on the new Battery Regulation, originally scheduled for 26 January, has been postponed.
It will now take place on 10 February. It is not yet clear whether the vote in the plenary, which was planned for February, will also be delayed.
Meanwhile, there was an interesting change in the Environment Committee: the 29-year-old Malte Gallée has become the new shadow rapporteur for the Greens. He succeeds Sven Giegold, who is leaving the European Parliament to become State Secretary in the German Ministry of Economic Affairs.
Landbell Group company, European Recycling Platform is following the legislative process and will continue to contribute to the consultations in parliament, as well as to the upcoming trialogue negotiations.
