Where to recycle WEEE, Batteries and Accumulators
Here is where to recycle WEEE, waste electrical and electronic equipment. The WEEE regulation provides that citizens can give their urban waste from electronic and electrical equipment, batteries and accumulators to:
- The nearest Municipal Collection Center
- The points of sale pursuant to Legislative Decree no. 49/14 and Ministerial Decree 65/2010, in 1vs1 mode
- The points of sale pursuant to Legislative Decree no. 49/14, in 1vs0 mode

The nearest Municipal Collection Center
Citizens can go to the nearest Municipal Collection Center to bring their waste from electronic and electrical equipment, batteries and accumulators free of charge.

The points of sale pursuant to Legislative Decree no. 49/14 and Ministerial Decree 65/2010, in 1vs1 mode
Citizens who purchase a new Electrical or Electronic Equipment such as a washing machine or a refrigerator, have the right to ask the dealer to collect the old equivalent equipment they want to dispose of (even at home, provided that it is ready to be collected, is disconnected from any fixed installation, is not a risk to health and safety and is suitable for collection).
The points of sale pursuant to Legislative Decree no. 49/14, in 1vs0 mode
Citizens can give their waste from Electrical Equipment and Electronics of small size (long side max 25 cm), free of charge and without purchase obligation.
The Waste of Portable Batteries and Accumulators can be delivered in special containers located at portable batteries and accumulators’ distributors (for example: supermarkets, shopping centers, large retailers, etc.), free of charge and without purchase obligation.
