Meet the team: ERP UK Business Development Manager Michael
This quarter we introduce our Account Manager & Business Development Manager, Michael
How long have you been with ERP UK?
Michael: I have been working in compliance for 10 years on 1st December 2020; initially with ERP, and then transferring to ERP UK in January 2017.
What does a typical day look like for you?
Michael: No one day is ever the same. Variety is the spice of life and I love that about my job! Last week (16th - 20th Nov) I chaired a team meeting, audited an existing battery member, confirmed a large number of existing member’s information for 2021 WEEE registrations, recorded a video on how to use our online reporting system which has undergone a 'facelift', set up an existing member for a new service, helped an existing member map their packaging flows and supported the creation of their own packaging data submission, spoke with the Environment Agency, spoke to a number of members I look after.
What motivates you in your role?
Michael: Knowing that I’m able to provide a solution to problems my customers or colleagues are facing is what motivates me.
In your opinion how does ERP UK stand out in comparison to other Producer Compliance Schemes? Michael: If you want a company dedicated to all things Extended Producer Responsibility and Producer Compliance then that’s ERP/Landbell. If you want to speak to an actual person, who is a knowledgeable specialist, that will go the extra mile to help you resolve a query, then just give us a call. I truly believe we have some of the best people in this industry and we will always go the extra mile for you.
