Vapes and e-cigarettes recycling takeback

All retailers selling vapes and e-cigarettes are required to offer in-store recycling takeback services to customers purchasing vapes under the WEEE Regulations, regardless of size or turnover.
Our nationwide service makes it easy for your customers or staff to recycle used vapes by introducing collection points, whilst providing vape retailers and distributors a way to meet their takeback obligations.

Our aim

ERP UK aim to make recycling a routine practice, reducing littering and diverting vapes from landfill by encouraging consumers to safely discard their vape products at established collection points, reducing environmental impact by capturing valuable recycling materials.

Our service

We offer two container options to meet your needs in public areas

  • 10ltr Countertop clear recycling tube
  • 20ltr Floor standing clear recycling tube

We also provide the option of a 30-litre UN-approved drum for back of store or warehouse to decant the tube into, supplied with vermiculite, a fire-resistant material to provide additional peace of mind.

Request procedure: complete our enquiry form

  • We will agree on the most suitable container for your site
  • Arrange for the delivery of the agreed container(s)
  • Place the vape bin in a visible and safe location for consumers to dispose of their used vapes and e-cigarettes
  • Once your container is full, contact our team to book your collection (collection link)
  • Our collection partner will arrive within 14 days to empty the vapes from your container, sending them for onward recycling treatment
