Portable batteries

Our takeback service for portable batteries is straightforward and convenient, using a battery box solution for use retail, office and other public settings.

If you sell or supply 32kg or more of portable batteries per year, you must offer free collection (‘takeback’) of waste or used batteries and have a collection point at all premises from where you supply batteries.

Industrial batteries

Industrial battery producers are obligated to collect the batteries they place on the market.

Our partners can provide secure destruction services for all types of items and circumstances, including end-of-life IT, product recalls, damaged stock and obsolete products.

Our flexible service means you can deliver secure waste to our nominated supplier, or we can collect and transport it securely for you, and provide access to witness destruction where required. The service can include de-packaging, shredding, hard drive data wiping and serial number logging within the service options.

All retailers selling vapes and e-cigarettes are required to offer in-store takeback to customers purchasing vapes under the WEEE Regulations, regardless of size or turnover.
